NHS Change Day

Today is National NHS Change Day!

This initiative was started last year and was designed to give NHS employees the chance to look at the way they do things in their NHS roles to see whether things can be done better.

People have done all sorts of things, from spending a whole day in a wheelchair to see how it affects their life to tasting medicines they normally prescribe to their paediatric patients, even making sure that Teddy is the first thing a child sees when they are recovering from anaesthetic.

This is a great initiative and it highlights the wealth of innovation and imagination that exists within the NHS and its employees. It also matches the ethos that we follow here at Espère.

We've built a reputation for looking at managing skin conditions from a different direction to "conventional" medical practice and many families around the UK have seen significant improvement in the wellbeing of their children as a result of this viewpoint.
